Late Fame

Overview

As the 1970s drew to a close, postal clerk Ed Saxberger published a poetry collection that went unnoticed. Then a devoted admirer shows up at his door, drawing him into a circle of young devotees who hail him as a forgotten master. Their downtown bohemian set is ruled by Gloria, their self-styled tragic heroine. Dazzled by the praise and by Gloria's magnetic pull, Saxberger slowly begins to question whether this new poetic tribe is truly what it seems.
