This arc revisits Watanagashi-hen through a different perspective. Shion steps into Mion's role in Hinamizawa, and upon first encountering Satoko's older brother, Satoshi, she falls for him instantly. Yet once she learns of the burden he bears trying to shield Satoko, her feelings twist into resentment toward the girl.
